I was invited to give a keynote speech and facilitate a workshop at World Usability Congress held in Graz in 2013. The congress was perfectly organized, talks and workshops were of high quality, logistics and the culinary experience were excellent, and Graz is an astonishing, beautiful city. But most importantly for me, and the thing I enjoyed most, was the level of engagement of the audience with talks and workshops. Personally, this was a wonderful conference with great people. This was among the top 3 conferences I attended in the past 3 years and I look forward to attending it again.

Members might be bringing their non-member friends to a Local Group meet-up (and you’re welcome to do the same), but their non-member friends will not be shown as “attending” because this feature is only available to members.

P.S.: Note that the number of attendees is not an indication of its value! Small meet-ups work perfectly, and can facilitate deeper, more fruitful conversations.
