Design for Adaptability: Component-Driven Information Architecture
If your content is a mess and users can’t find what they're looking for, your website isn't usable. The key to overcome or avoid this problem is a robust information architecture (IA). Help users accomplish their goals efficiently with the proper process. In this Master Class with UX Researcher and Inclusive Designer Stéphanie Walter, you'll learn the step-by-step process to organize content and extract your full page IA and your overview components.
Learn how to save time by making the right decisions early with low fidelity wireframes instead of detailed mockups.
This process comes with a toolkit you can apply to any type of website, from simple sites to complex enterprise products. You'll be able to apply those concepts in your daily work with the help of Stéphanie's trusty Miro board.
In this Master Class, you’ll learn:
- How to explore the fundamentals of an overview-detail model and understand how modular components work at different sizes.
- How to create a content model for a detailed page.
- How to build a content hierarchy and priority, based on user needs.
- How to build detailed low fidelity wireframes of pages and responsive modular components out of that content priority.
Go from complexity to clarity with a guided process you can make your own!
