We hear the term “tools” a lot in UX. Whether it’s software like Figma or Adobe XD, or outputs like wireframes, journey maps—UX professionals do a variety of activities and are expected to have a comprehensive toolbox to make usable products that meet both business and user needs. Where do you start, what UX tools and activities should you focus on and which do you use and when?

In this Master Class, experts in behavioral science and economics, Susan and Guthrie Weinschenk will talk about UX tools and activities and which are best for a given product and project.

You’ll learn:

  • How to start building or enhance your existing UX toolbox.
  • An overview of UX tools and activities like personas, heuristic evaluations, storyboards, jobs to be done, scenarios, cognitive walkthroughs, wireframing, prototyping and more.
  • What are the most useful and important UX tools.
  • When and where to best use each tool.

This Master Class is for anyone who is interested in UX design and wants to improve their skills in this discipline.
