David Batten has over 16 years in the Usability/Accessibility field; 13 years at IBM as an Advisory Human Factors Engineer and 3 years at The University of Texas at El Paso as Director of Web Content. He has applied Usability and Accessibility methodology to architect and augment enterprise applications, web-based applications, and public institution websites.

He is as comfortable staging and facilitating a Focus Group and presenting to corporate boards as he is creating navigation and task flows, wire-frames, and design documents. He has been published in the International Journal of Industrial Ergonomics and holds two patents.
