Frøy Birte Bjørneseth graduated from University of Strathclyde in October 2005 with a M.Sc. in Computer and Internet Technologies. After working in IT for a couple of years in her homecountry, Norway, she changed jobs and started in Rolls- Royce Marine AS at Dept. Control Alesund in June 2007, as a software developer.
Her main interests are human computer interaction, graphical user interfaces and multi-touch interaction. As research is a part of her work in Rolls- Royce Marine AS, she started her PhD at University of Strathclyde in October 2007, working mainly towards improving HCI and GUI on maritime equpiment under Dr. Mark Dunlop\'s supervision.
Frøy Birte has her background from Aalesund University College where she graduated with a B.Sc. in Telematics in 2003 and a Cand.Mag. in Economics and Administration in 2004.
