Georgia holds a diploma in Pedagogic Studies (1993) from the National Kapodestrian University of Athens in Greece, and a Ph.D. (2008) diploma from the Department of Education Technology and Digital Systems, University of Piraeus, Greece. She works as a teacher in Primary Education for over ten years while she is a member of the research laboratory CoSy Lab in Piraeus. Her research interests include instructional design, web-based learning systems, educational technologies, and any other applications of ICTs in all degrees of Education. She also participates in various European R&D projects related to the integration of ICTs in Education.
