Jeffrey Johnson is Proessor of Complexity Science and Design at the Open University in the UK. In the early 1970s he worked on Q-analysis with Ron Atkin in the Mathematics Despartment at Essex University, before moving to the Geography Department of Cambridge University in 1977 to work with Graham Chapman and Peter Gould on the International Television Programme Project. He joined the Department of Design and Innovation of the Open University in 1980. http://design.open.ac.uk/johnson/
