mathematician and composer, is associated professor of the Music Department and group leader of the Interdisciplinary Nucleus for Sound Studies (NICS) of the University of Campinas (Unicamp), Brazil. His perspective is based on a dialogue between Arts and Sciences devoting himself to the interlacement of musical creation, computer technology, psychoacoustics and cognitive sciences. He works with interactive mediated music and studies the development of evolutionary process for composition and sound design.
