Author: Kanav Kahol

Dr Kahol is currently a Assistant Research Professor as a joint appointment between Center for Cognitive Ubiquitous Computing, Arizona State University and Simulation and Training Center (SimET Center) at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital. His research interests revolve around haptic user interfaces for assistance, rehabilitation and learning. He is currently involved in projects centered around haptic assistive devices, surgical simulation and training and rehabilitation. Dr. Kahol\'s focus on human computer interfaces, cognitive psychology and neurology defines the projects and research he is involved in. Dr. Kanav Kahol completed his PhD from Arizona State University in 2006. His dissertation was titled, \"Distal Object perception through haptic user interfaces\". Dr. Kahol completed his masters of science in computer science in 2003 from Arizona State Universiy. His thesis was titled, \"Gesture segmentation in complex motion sequences\". He completed his bachelors from Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College , Ludhiana in 2001. Dr. Kahol has published several papers in leading journals and conferences.
