Professor Peter Gerrand is an Adjunct Senior Research Fellow in the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics at Monash University, Melbourne, Australia; a Professorial Fellow in telecommunications at the Melbourne School of Engineering, University of Melbourne; and a Research Fellow at the Contemporary European Research Centre in the School of Politics and Sociology, also at the University of Melbourne.

He is also Editor-in-Chief of the Telecommunications Journal of Australia
