Tao Ni is HCI Research Scientist at MicroStrategy. Before joining MicroStrategy he worked at Microsoft Research. Tao Ni worked with Amy Karlson and Daniel Wigdor on improving doctor-patient communication with handheld mobile devices. Published a full paper at CHI 2011 and received many press coverage, including MIT Technology Review, Gizmag, ABC News, Wired UK, and media from other parts of the world like Sina and Sohu in China. He got Ph.D in Computer Science at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, 2010. His research area combines R&D in human-computer interaction, user interface design, user experience research, visual design. At MicroStrategy he is responsible for user experience design, research, and creativity for MicroStrategy Mobile product line.
