Urs E. Gattiker is Editor and Publisher of INFORMATION SECURITY THIS WEEK (ISSN 1600-1869) and director of CASEScontact a security portal. He also heads the CyTRAP research laboratory that pools the efforts of researchers located across Europe regarding usability, testing and security of software and systems. His current work involves evaluating software, systems and design of information systems. Urs' work in human-computer interaction (HCI) andinformation security over the last two decades has spanned theory, methodology, design, and development. He holds a Ph.D. in Informatics/Business from theClaremont Graduate University. He is author and editor of publications in the fields of computing and information security. He is a member of IEEE, ACM, and EICAR.
