Walid Saba is currently a Principal Software Engineer at the American Institutes for Research in Washington, DC. Previously, he was in academia where he taught Computer Science at several institutions, and was a consulting software engineer where he worked at such places as AT&T Bell Labs and Cognos. His research interests are natural language understanding, intelligent agents and transformation of declarative functional programs.
