I would characterize myself as an HCI researcher with a focus on mobile and pervasive computing. On my PhD I worked on novel pervasive applications for intra-family communication as well as, on a methodological side, trying to improve the experience sampling method. On my PostDoc I applied some of the methodological findings to support patients suffering from obsessive compulsive disorder. Currently my research activities focus on evaluating location-based services with the help of a mixed-reality setup. I am currently senior lecturer at NHTV Breda University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.
