Author: Ole Sejer Iversen
Ph.D
Ole S. Iversen is professor in Child-Computer interaction at the Centre of Advanced Visualization and Interaction (CAVI), on Aarhus University. His research lies at the intersection of computer science and cultural-historical psychology with a particular interest in ubiquitous computing for supporting learning practices of children and teens. There are several research interests where Iversen put his mark such is child-computer interaction, interaction design, participatory design, cooperative design, cultural-historical activity theory, ubiquitous computing, design studies, design research, and computer supported cooperative work.
During the years, he have conducted a range of experiments with novel technologies in schools, museums, libraries and in shopping malls. In most of the cases, children has been engaged in the design process.
Recent projects include Reflectable(2012-2013),Timereflections (2011 - 2012), or Beart (2011).
He was engaged in committee work at different conferences such as 14 biannual Participatory Design Conference, Namibia, Interaction Design and Children Conference, New York,13th biannual Participatory Design conference, Roskilde.
