Pere Freixa has a graduate in Fine Arts (University of Barcelona, UB), a Postgraduate Degree in Interactive and Multimedia Systems (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, UPC), a MS in Art and Image Technology (University of Barcelona, UB)and a PhD in Fine Arts (University of Barcelona, UB). He is currently a full time professor of the Department of Communication at Pompeu Fabra University (photography, digital image, interactive design and interactive communication). He has participated, coordinated and conducted several courses and postgraduate courses on digital imaging and photography. As a researcher, he is a member of Digidoc, Research group on Digital Documentation and Interactive Communication, Department of Communication, UPF.
