Ph.D
Kiyoshi Kiyokawa received his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in information systems from Nara Institute of Science and Technology in 1996 and 1998, respectively. He was a Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science in 1998.
He worked for Communications Research Laboratory from 1999 to 2002. He was a visiting researcher at Human Interface Technology Laboratory of the University of Washington from 2001 to 2002. He is currently an Associate Professor at Cybermedia Center, Osaka University.
His research interests include virtual reality, augmented reality, 3D user interface, and CSCW. He has been involved in organizing IEEE and ACM conferences, such as IEEE and ACM International Symposium on Mixed and Augmented Reality (ISMAR), IEEE International Symposium on Wearable Computers (ISWC), IEEE Symposium on 3D User Interfaces (3DUI), and IEEE Virtual Reality.
